Bad Apple by Laura Ruby

"If I really wanted to open up, I'd confess that I really am the liar everyone believes I am."

Accused of having an affair with her art teacher, Tola finds herself the center of unwanted attention. The object of whispers and stares at school, she also deals with the gossip and lies posted on a blog proclaiming to know the "truth" about Tola. Attention isn't new to Tola, she's a bit of a slacker outcast, and rumors are always going around about her. But this time it's different and Tola must decide whether to keep lying or finally tell the truth.

Bad Apple is driven by Tola, a funny, quirky artist who looks at the world through a lens of Grimm's fairytales.
