Teen Volunteers

Do you want to volunteer? Do something for your community? Then become a Library Teen Volunteer. We have a variety of volunteer activities including helping at teen and youth events, working on simple craft projects, and doing light cleaning/dusting. You volunteer for the jobs that interest you! Simply fill out an application and your name goes on the volunteer list; I'll contact you when volunteer opportunities are available. Check out the FAQ if you have more questions. The library is always looking for new volunteers!

Twilight Movie Update

Another movie update...
Eclipse, the third movie in the Twilight saga has named a director and is due for release on June 30, 2010. And in case you haven't heard, New Moon, the second in the series, will open on November 20, 2009.

You still have time to read the books while you wait for the movies!

Art & Writing Contest

The Teen Art & Writing Contest had another amazing year! The artwork is currently on display in the library teen area until March 27th. In case you can't make it to the library, all of the participants, art and writing, can be enjoyed at the library website.

A big THANK YOU to the the teachers and librarians who helped promote the contest. And another gigantic THANK YOU to all the students that participated!
